The Department of Social Development in Northern Ireland decided that from November 2005 all developing housing associations should adopt the Charter priciples to be considered for future funding. Eighteen housing associations have now regisitered and we are pleased to annouce that Filor Housing Association and Belfast Community Housing Assocition have become the first to go through the Charter process and acheive Green Light Charter Status.

On 3^rd October 2005 Essex Fire Authority became the first UK Fire Authority to achieve the Client Charter Status Award. The Property Services Team undertook the challenge by completing the Mini Charter. This involved the team reviewing their current practices and policies to formulate a 5-year continuous improvement programme.
